Boardwalk Centre Edmonton Review
My experience as a tenant at Boardwalk Centre in Edmonton, including water entering the apartment during a storm and an ongoing pigeon problem above the balcony.
Short review
This is my personal review of Boardwalk Centre in Edmonton. The main unresolved concern is that water entered inside my apartment during a storm. This is not simply a balcony clean-up issue; it requires inspection, explanation, and proper repair so it does not happen again.
Another ongoing issue is the pigeon problem above my balcony. The balcony is repeatedly covered with pigeon droppings. Cleaning the balcony helps only temporarily, but the source of the problem needs to be fixed, including installing pigeon spikes above the balcony area.
Main issues
- Apartment flooding: rainwater entered the living space during a storm.
- Balcony pigeon droppings: the balcony is repeatedly covered because pigeons sit above the unit.
- Maintenance follow-up: I am asking for a clear inspection timeline and practical corrective action.
- Compensation request: I have asked for a response about rent reduction or compensation for the inconvenience.
Photos and video
I have photo and video evidence showing water entering the apartment and the condition of the balcony.
What I am asking for
I am asking Boardwalk management to inspect the cause of water entering the apartment, provide a repair plan, address the pigeon issue above the balcony, and respond in writing about compensation or rent reduction.
